Blog Post Assignment 9

In this class i learned how to write a full essay with 7-11 sentences. This AP class taught me that it is more to just writing. During many test i used the strategies that i was taught over this year long course. Writting and analyzing essays in this class helped me on many different things such as the act which i successfully passed the writting portion with a 31. I would recommend that if any student is wishing to become a lawyer to take this class. Of course people will think that this class may not be benificial but i submit to you that having a more broader education can take one far. My favorite thing about this class was the laughs and fun times we had. My least favorite was the rude interuputions we very often had. What i would love differently for next year would be the test to be more wordy. On the AP Exam the test has many words which has to do alot with the passages. Over all my AP class was very successful we all learned many new things that we can take with us for the rest of our life.

Blog Post Assignment 6

Dear governor Bentley,
My name is Jessica Ambrose. I have worked at Clementine elementary for over 40 years. At my school are my number one priority. I have been dedicated to my work for over a decade. My husband is reverend Ambrose. Attending church is like a hobby to me and my husband. We have no kids due to the fact that i have to have chemotherapy which makes it very hard for me to conceive. This is why i am so committed to my work with children.
I am writing to you on the behalf of Jefferson. He was such a sweet boy. Jefferson attended my class in the 5th grade. Jefferson also would take part in our Sunday service. We where later to find out he was in prison for a hanish crime. Jefferson was not only sweet but his heart was pure. Once back in the 5th grade i witnessed Jefferson stand in front of a girl who had rocks being thrown at her. What more could you ask out of a kid.
In the many years Jefferson's had grown to become a very loving and caring person. I was so shocked when my husband called me and told me the news. All i could do was get on my knees and pray. But Mr.governor I'm not asking you to free him or let this go. But as a human please have sympathy. Jefferson has never done anything like this and for this to all of a sudden happen is a little insane. Please just hear our humble cry.

Chapter 16 quotation
"You aint no hog, you hear me ? You aint no hog." "Thats all i'm is."he said. "Fattening up to -" she slapped him.
Chapter 16#1- This quotation does lack the freedom of a black person knowing that he is in jail for something he was allready guilty for.
Chapter16#2- This quotation does reflect a conflict. But it seems that she is only showing that he should never call himself less of a man because the next man did.

Chapter17 quotation
"Listen," he said," we might as well call each other by our names. You're grant, aren't you?
Chapter17#1- This quotation does not lack a black person's freedom. Showing respect or lacking respect this quote indicates the way some people interact with others.
Chapter17#2- This quotation does not reflect a conflict. They are only agreeing on something .
